Security	The user running the software must have Read/Write permissions on “C:\Program files\Specto Products” folder or the chosen folder for installation. (User permissions will be added automatically during setup for that user who is running the setup itself) The user running the software must have read/write permissions on windows Registry (user permissions will be added automatically during setup for that user who is running the setup itself) Firewall must allow the incoming ports “58886, 58887” for Specto Examiner and the outgoing ports “58888, 58889” to Specto server.

HD Capacity	25 GB. Note: Specto Examiner Application will start using 96 MB of the hard disk capacity.

Checklist for ATC to move to Syllabus 5 Exams

1- Install Win 7 (Must be Activated) .

a. For Examiner 32 bit.

b. For Center Manger (32 bit or 64 bit).

2- Install Arabic language pack for Win 7 .

3- Install Office 2010/2007 (Must be Activated).

4- In case of using office 2007 you need to install SP2 for office 2007.

5- Install the Arabic Language Pack for Microsoft Office

6- Install the Net Framework 4.0.

7- Install Flash Player 10.

8- Install Arabic keyboard language.

9- Configure the LAN in the testing room.

10- Server must have a Static private IP.

11- The screen resolution is not less than 1024 by 768.

12- Make sure the following ports are open

a. on Center Manager (QA PC)

i. Incoming ports “58886, 58887”

b. to internet (in and out)

i. Outgoing ports “58888, 58889” to Specto server.

c. on the Examiner (Candidates PC’S)

i. Outgoing ports 58886, 58887

ii. Inbound ports 58884, 58885, 58886

13- Internet connection available on server machine (QA PC), minimum 512 kb, to download the exams and upload results.

a. Minimum number of PCs is 10 with max number of 50 per lab

b. Preferred to have a one extra PC to be used in case of having a technical problem with any other PC

14- Make sure only one network card are enabled during the testing session.

15- Check center profile on IAS is completed and update it before the Audit visit.

NOTE: MCIT Centers will test on MS office 2010 only.
